My secret ingredient to flawless makeup starts with this product. Farsáli’s Rose Gold Elixir.
This is an oil based product that glosses over your skin while its 24K gold flakes absorb quickly and disappear.
As my readers know, I suffer from chronic chapped lips and I’ve tried, like, literally every product to help them. This was one of the products I tested out, and while it didn’t cure my lip issues, it completely transformed my makeup game. We’re talking a major level up.
I use the elixir under my foundation to help keep my skin looking even and allow the makeup to not dry up in patches or get cake-y. Bonus: this product also fights redness, irritation, and acne. Boombaby.
I typically use four drops in different areas of my face. Then, with my damp foundation sponge, I spread it over my skin with light pats until it’s fully covered. The mixture of the elixir and water from the sponge helps my skin not to look oily. I love to finish it off by applying my foundation while my skin is still wet before the product fully absorbs. This helps my makeup smooth on easier.
If you’re wondering what Farsáli is… I worry you’ve been living under a digital rock. Farsáli is a skin care and makeup line that was created by Farah Dhukai and her husband because of her sensitive skin problems. Together they wanted to create something that she was able to use without having crazy reactions and that was made from wholesome ingredients.
I’m going to direct you to her personal Instagram because she is perfection, and because she creates all of her own DIY products for real skin/hair problems. Hence, the skincare line.
I had a lot of you curious about her Unicorn Elixir, too. So, I’ll include that in this post. I’ve never used the Unicorn Elixir, but it’s one of her most popular products. There’s endless videos on Instagram of people using it and it’s next on my list to buy. There’s also other great products on the Farsáli website.
Let me know in the comments below if you use any of these products! Or if you try them out. Would love to hear y’all’s thoughts.
