You guys are going to die… but the clothes I’m wearing here are the aftermath of the first time I went shopping since January.
Anyway, this is my first post since moving back to LA (hell yes, friends) and I thought it’d be cute to give you my personal guide to Melrose Avenue. If you don’t know what this iconic street is, then Google is about to be your bestie, girlfriend.

It seemed necessary to create this guide since we took these pics all along Melrose. So, here’s my spill on this street:
1. Tatsu Ramen
You must go here. If you ever crave noodles, this is your new home. Everything on their menu is bomb. Ryu Isobe created this restaurant with the intent of having the food taste as good as the ramen back in Tokyo, where he was born. Bonus: they use all natural ingredients.
Momofuku in New York City is very similar, if you’ve eaten there.
This place is the secret every LA fashion babe knows. Wasteland is a secondhand clothing store built on edgy, rock vibes with a chic-modern spirit. They’ll take your best clothes and give you other people’s gems in return.

*Insert every cliche Instagram coffee pic ever* The tea room sits hidden away in an alley, which is probably why famous girls love to go. They patented the slogan “But first, coffee.” and the cups are the cutest thing you’ve ever seen. This place helped build my love for matcha and chia seed pudding. Need I say more?
4. Urth Caffe
I’m so bias about this place because I ate lunch here everyday for three months straight last summer. I worked across the street from it, and I have no self control. I can personally tell you that every sandwich on their menu is delicious, their matcha lattes are to. die., and the weird pizza flavors are the best ones.

You’re going here if you need a cool wall to take a photo in front of. And I mean, not the same walls that everyone uses (ahem, Paul Smith). Don’t worry, I’m guilty, too. Joyrich has dope clothing on the inside and a fake vine covered wall on the outside, complete with fake gorgeous flowers (see photo above).
David and I stopped in here super quick to check it out during our shoot. I love love loved it for three reasons: they have the first Groot comics, the individual comic books are dirt cheap, and they have an old, sweet dog that lays around the store waiting to be pet.
